We recognise each patient and each implant is different. That’s why we go to great lengths to talk through every aspect of your practice before any treatment is started and keep in regular contact going throughout the whole implant journey.
A small titanium fixture (the ‘implant’) takes the place of the original root of the tooth. It is gently implanted under local anaesthetic in a short surgical procedure. The bone of the jaw then grows closely around the titanium implant locking it in position solidly. A crown or bridge can be placed upon the implant to restore missing teeth.
Dental implants can have a huge impact on your quality of life. Many patients can now eat their favourite foods again and no longer feel they need to hide their smile.
Dental implants can also be used to support dentures. This can be life changing for people struggling with loose dentures. They allow people to have confidence, stability and comfort when chewing and speaking.
I recently went to Campbell & Gibson to have some cosmetic dentistry work done, I was extremely impressed with the service I received and would highly recommend them.
It’s a pleasure to come to Campbell and Gibson. All the staff are kind, and the environment relaxed. My treatment was excellent with no surprises and I have been very happy with the results.
I have been a patient at this excellent practice for many years and recently had an implant. I was initially apprehensive but was reassured by the detailed explanation and advice on aftercare given by James at every stage of the rather complex process. Both he and Rob were involved and I was satisfied throughout that a careful and appropriate treatment plan was being followed and no shortcuts taken. Both were happy to answer any questions and I felt very confident that I was getting the best possible treatment and value for money. The implant has been a great success thanks to the professionalism and standard of patient care shown by the team at Campbell & Gibson and I would not hesitate to do it again.
