After obtaining an MPharm degree at the University of Strathclyde, Rob went on to gain his BDS from Aberdeen University and came to Edinburgh for further post-grad dental training. He joined the practice in 2015 and became a partner in 2017.

Rob aims to give clear explanations enabling you to make informed decisions on your care. He believes that your natural teeth are superior to any replacement, so will always aim for minimal treatment wherever possible. In keeping with this principle Rob is now providing Invisalign treatment at Campbell and Gibson.

Outwith work Rob enjoys time with his wife and two children, and free time pursuing outdoor activities: fly fishing, cycling and golfing in summer and being on the slopes in winter.

Rose’s journey in dentistry began at Dundee University, where she earned her BDS degree. Since then, she’s been dedicated to delivering high-quality, minimally invasive treatments. Joining Campbell and Gibson in 2015, Rose became a partner in 2017.

Her passion lies in understanding each patient’s unique needs, offering empathetic dental care with expertise. She has a passion for composite bonding to improve a patients smile with minimal impact on their dental health. Additionally, Rose offers anti-wrinkle treatments, effectively diminishing fine lines and signs of aging while maintaining a focus on natural aesthetics

Beyond the clinic, Rose stays active with gym classes and exploring East Lothian’s countryside. Parenthood has enriched her life, deepening her compassion and patience, qualities she brings to her practice, providing a level of care that goes beyond the dental chair.

James, who is a native of the Emerald Isle, obtained his BDS qualification from Dundee University in 2004. He has worked in Musselburgh since 2009 becoming a partner 6 years later. James is passionate about delivering quality dentistry to his patients. Minimally invasive dentistry is at the forefront of every decision and this is reflected in his evidence-based practice.

He is delighted to be able to provide successful implant dentistry in Musselburgh. His approach revolves around simplifying procedures for patients, ensuring they grasp the treatment process effortlessly. He encourages active patient participation in treatment planning, fostering a collaborative approach towards achieving optimal dental health and satisfaction.

Outside of work James is a keen golfer who plays when possible but with a young and growing (just like his handicap) family, spare time is limited.

After obtaining his doctorate in molecular biology from the University of Dundee, Oliver completed his BDS qualification at the University of Glasgow. Oliver joined the team in 2020 and has a keen focus on delivering patient focussed evidence-based dentistry.

Known for his friendly and approachable manner, Oliver takes pride in providing high-quality, minimally invasive dentistry in a clear and understandable way. Recently, he has expanded his scope of practice to include dental implants at our Musselburgh practice.

Outside of dentistry Oliver enjoys spending time with friends and keeping active. He can often be found exploring Scotland on his road bike or firing up some homemade pizza at the weekends.

Alex qualified from Dundee University and has since worked in both NHS and private practices in Scotland and New Zealand.

Ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care in a personable and minimally invasive manner is central to Alex’s practicing ethos. With a focus on aesthetic and restorative dentistry, Alex has honed her skills and obtained a PGCert in cosmetic dentistry, further enhancing her ability to deliver tailored and impactful treatments.

Alex has also been providing anti-wrinkle for a number of years and provides this treatment at the North Berwick clinic.

Outside of work Alex is often found back home in the highlands hiking, paddle boarding or on the ski slopes.

Crawford is a distinguished alumnus of Glasgow Dental Hospital, having graduated in 1987. Following a dedicated tenure as a dental officer in the Royal Navy, he has amassed over 30 years of experience in general dental practice, serving communities in Edinburgh and North Berwick.

With a wealth of expertise, Crawford has experience in dental implant placement and restoration, Short Term Orthodontics, and Facial Aesthetics, ensuring comprehensive care for his patients.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Crawford spends his spare time hillwalking, sailing, and perfecting his golf swing. His passion for adventure is reflected in both his personal and professional life, making him a well-rounded and dedicated dental practitioner.

Victoria began as a biologist in 2010 but later found herself drawn to working roles involving caring for others. This inspired her to gain her BDS qualification from the University of Aberdeen in 2019 to further this focus and take up a bigger role in healthcare.

As a dentist, Victoria is committed to providing high quality, individualised and holistic care for her patients. She will do her very best to put her patients at ease be it by unlimited explanations of the procedures or by playing their favourite music onto the radio!

Victoria remains an avid animal lover and can be often found swimming in cold Scottish waters at any time of the year.

Catriona studied at Dundee University, where she graduated with her BDS in 2015. She has since worked in Fife and East Lothian, providing high quality dentistry and a patient-friendly approach.

She takes a minimally invasive approach, keeping the patient’s needs at the heart of every treatment plan, as she feels the person, not the mouth, is the most important part of successful dentistry.

Outwith work, she can be found DIY-ing many projects and renovations to her house with her husband as well as travelling in their campervan and seeing the world.

Sally graduated from Dundee University with the Dall medal for excellence in porcelain work. Since then she has worked in both general practice and dental hospital fields of Orthodontics and Restorative dentistry.

Her aim is to provide high quality minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry, in a relaxed, caring environment. She particularly enjoys treating anxious patients and has trained in hypnosis.

She is continually upgrading her skills by attending post graduate courses on latest techniques. These include anti wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, orthodontics using clear aligners and cosmetic dentistry.

Sally is a keen skier and tennis player. Her other interests are theatre and music. She is a mother of three lovely daughters and enjoys sharing her hobbies with them.

After graduating in Biomedical Science in 2010, Catriona gravitated towards a career in Dentistry motivated by the role it offered in working with and caring for others. She obtained her BDS in 2016 from the University of Aberdeen and has enjoyed working with a wide range of patients in West and East Lothian since.

As a dentist, Catriona is committed to providing high quality dentistry in a friendly and relaxed environment. Catriona strives to ensure that her patients feel at ease and always aims to give clear and informative advice so that patients can take an active role in their treatment planning and oral healthcare. She is delighted to now offer IV sedation at the Musselburgh practice. This service helps relax patients for more complex procedures and puts anxious patients at ease, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free dental experience.

Outside of work, Catriona enjoys spending time with her young family and friends; exploring the Scottish countryside with her enthusiastic terrier and baking.

Susan joined the practice in 1994 as a dental nurse, and worked in this capacity for many years. Susan took over the role of practice manager in 2007 and has remained in this position since then.

When not working Susan enjoys yoga, Pilates and spending time with her family and friends.

Karen joined the practice in 2000, when she qualified as a dental nurse. She then continued to gain certificates in oral health education, impression taking, and fluoride application, before becoming practice manager in 2021. In 2019, Karen was presented with the award for “Most Valuable Team Member” at the Dentistry Scotland Awards

Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, walking her dog, and keeping fit at the gym.

Sarah’s journey in dentistry began in 2013 when she started as a dental nurse. Throughout her tenure, she pursued qualifications in various domains, including oral health education, impression taking, and front-of-house development. Her dedication and drive led her to train in dental practice management, ultimately securing her current role as the practice manager at our North Berwick practice.

Outside of work, Sarah cherishes moments with her family and young children. She finds solace in the tranquility of local beaches, often indulging in wild swimming adventures. Additionally, she channels her creativity into various craft projects, always eager to explore new artistic endeavors.

After the completion of a BSc degree in Australia, Adelene graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2022 with a BA in Dental Science and has since moved to Scotland.

Performing treatment to the highest possible standard and ensuring patient satisfaction, whilst providing minimally invasive dentistry is at the forefront of Adelene’s priorities. Alongside this, she is constantly looking to progress and develop her skills in order to provide a variety of treatments.

Aside from work Adelene is often found in the gym, cooking and baking treats or spending quality time with family and friends.

Lois, who is originally from Northern Ireland, qualified from Edinburgh University in 2019. She has since worked across Scotland in both general and private practices before joining the team in North Berwick in 2020.

Making patients feel reassured and at ease in a situation many find daunting is at the forefront in all of Lois’ work. Lois aims to work alongside each patient to ensure they have the tools and guidance they require to maintain their oral health.

Outside of work, Lois enjoys travelling, going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.

Libby Hendry qualified as a Dental Hygienist from Dundee Dental Hospital in 1981. Libby gained experience working in various practices in Edinburgh and then went on to work as a hygienist in the military hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 1986 she returned to the UK and worked in a specialist practice in Wimpole Street. She was part of the team that were first to do implants in the UK. In 1995 she took a break from work to raise her family in Germany and Moscow. On her return to the UK in 2006 she has worked with Campbell & Gibson in Musselburgh. She now works across all 3 practices.

Maddie is a proud graduate of Edinburgh University as a Dental Therapist. Her fervent interest in oral health education, prevention, and patient support stands at the forefront of her care philosophy. Maddie is dedicated to laying positive foundations for her patients’ dental and hygiene needs, emphasising tailored treatment to support each individual’s goals, particularly in cosmetic dentistry.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Maddie stays active through sports and hillwalking, channeling her energy into outdoor adventures.

Saba, originally from Pakistan, brings with her 10 years of extensive experience in the field of dentistry. She embarked on her hygienist career in 2021 and has since then demonstrated exceptional dedication towards improving oral health. Saba firmly believes in her work’s positive impact on patients and takes immense pleasure in helping them maintain optimal gum and oral health.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Saba enjoys traveling, photography, music, and cherishing moments with her family.
