Smile and eat the foods you have always wanted to with confidence thanks to dental implants!

Do you find it difficult to eat your favourite foods, have to avoid biting into an apple and ordering a juicy steak?

Are you unhappy with the appearance of your smile, or find your confidence suffers because of missing or loose teeth?

Have you dentures that you worry will move or fall out?

Thankfully a wonderful solution using Dental implants may be the answer to what you are looking for!

You could regain your confidence with the smile you have always wanted, and focus on enjoying the tastes and textures of your favourite foods, not worrying about discomfort or potential embarrassment.

What are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are a fixed solution that (because they do not move!) feel and function like normal teeth. They are an artificial tooth root placed into the bone of the jaws which dental crowns/bridges and other options can be placed on top of.

It is the closest thing modern dentistry has to providing you with your own teeth back again.

What are the benefits of Dental Implants and the treatment process?

Benefits include

  • Restore spaces in your mouth with a fixed solution

  • Replacing moving dentures or wobbly teeth with a fixed alternative
  • Improve the appearance of your smile and confidence

How do implants work?

Dental implants can often be used to replace missing teeth and support dentures or bridges.

A small titanium fixture (the ‘implant’) takes the place of the original root of the tooth. It is gently implanted under local anaesthetic in a short surgical procedure. The bone of the jaw then grows closely around the titanium implant locking it in position solidly. A crown or bridge can be placed upon the implant to restore missing teeth.

Dental implants can have a huge impact on your quality of life. Many patients can now eat their favourite foods again and no longer feel they need to hide their smile.

Dental implants can also be used to support dentures. This can be life changing for people struggling with loose dentures. They allow people to have confidence, stability and comfort when chewing and speaking.
