After obtaining an MPharm degree at the University of Strathclyde, Rob went on to gain his BDS from Aberdeen University and came to Edinburgh for further post-grad dental training. He joined the practice in 2015 and became a partner in 2017.
Rob aims to give clear explanations enabling you to make informed decisions on your care. He believes that your natural teeth are superior to any replacement, so will always aim for minimal treatment wherever possible. In keeping with this principle Rob is now providing Invisalign treatment at Campbell and Gibson.
Outwith work Rob enjoys time with his wife and two children, and free time pursuing outdoor activities: fly fishing, cycling and golfing in summer and being on the slopes in winter.
Rose obtained her BDS from Dundee University. She has since enjoyed providing high quality, minimally invasive dentistry for her patients. Since 2015 Rose has been working at Campbell and Gibson and became a partner in 2017.
It is important to Rose for her to understand each patient’s individual needs and she takes pride in providing dental care in a compassionate and personable manner.
Rose has recently started providing anti wrinkle treatments. These are used to create a natural rejuvenated look and has expanded the scope of practice available to our patients.
In her spare time Rose enjoys spending time with friends and family and keeping fit with gym classes and triathlons.
James, who is a native of the Emerald Isle, obtained his BDS qualification from Dundee University in 2004. He has worked in Musselburgh since 2009 becoming a partner 6 years later. James is passionate about delivering quality dentistry to his patients. Minimally invasive dentistry is at the forefront of every decision and this is reflected in his evidence-based practice.
He is delighted to be able to provide successful implant dentistry in Musselburgh. He strives to help his patients understand the procedures in a simple way and is keen that the patient takes an active part in their treatment planning.
Outside of work James is a keen golfer who plays when possible but with a young and growing (just like his handicap) family, spare time is limited.
After obtaining his doctorate in molecular biology from the University of Dundee, Oliver completed his BDS qualification at the University of Glasgow. Oliver joined the team in 2020 and has a keen focus on delivering patient focussed evidence-based dentistry.
Oliver takes pride in his friendly and approachable manner. His aim is to deliver high-quality, minimally invasive dentistry explained in a way that is easy to understand. He is looking forward to meeting new and existing patients at our Musselburgh practice.
Outside of dentistry Oliver enjoys spending time with friends and keeping active. He can often be found exploring Scotland on his road bike or firing up some homemade pizza at the weekends.
Victoria began as a biologist in 2010 but later found herself drawn to working roles involving caring for others. This inspired her to gain her BDS qualification from the University of Aberdeen in 2019 to further this focus and take up a bigger role in healthcare.
As a dentist, Victoria is committed to providing high quality, individualised and holistic care for her patients. She will do her very best to put her patients at ease be it by unlimited explanations of the procedures or by playing their favourite music onto the radio!
Victoria remains an avid animal lover and can be often found swimming in cold Scottish waters at any time of the year.
Catriona studied at Dundee University, where she graduated with her BDS in 2015. She has since worked in Fife and East Lothian, providing high quality dentistry and a patient-friendly approach.
She takes a minimally invasive approach, keeping the patient’s needs at the heart of every treatment plan, as she feels the person, not the mouth, is the most important part of successful dentistry.
Outwith work, she can be found DIY-ing many projects and renovations to her house with her husband as well as travelling in their campervan and seeing the world.
Sally graduated from Dundee University with the Dall medal for excellence in porcelain work. Since then she has worked in both general practice and dental hospital fields of Orthodontics and Restorative dentistry.
Her aim is to provide high quality minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry, in a relaxed, caring environment. She particularly enjoys treating anxious patients and has trained in hypnosis.
She is continually upgrading her skills by attending post graduate courses on latest techniques. These include anti wrinkle treatments, orthodontics using invisible aligners and cosmetic dentistry.
Sally is a keen skier and tennis player. Her other interests are theatre and music. She is a mother of three lovely daughters and enjoys sharing her hobbies with them.
After graduating in Biomedical Science in 2010, Catriona gravitated towards a career in Dentistry motivated by the role it offered in working with and caring for others. She obtained her BDS in 2016 from the University of Aberdeen and has enjoyed working with a wide range of patients in West and East Lothian since.
As a dentist, Catriona is committed to providing high quality dentistry in a friendly and relaxed environment. Catriona strives to ensure that her patients feel at ease and always aims to give clear and informative advice so that patients can take an active role in their treatment planning and oral healthcare.
Outside of work, Catriona enjoys spending time with her young family and friends; exploring the Scottish countryside with her enthusiastic terrier and baking.
Karen joined the practice in 2000, when she qualified as a dental nurse. She then continued to gain certificates in oral health education, impression taking, and fluoride application, before becoming practice manager in 2021. In 2019, Karen was presented with the award for “Most Valuable Team Member” at the Dentistry Scotland Awards
Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, walking her dog, and keeping fit at the gym.
Libby Hendry qualified as a Dental Hygienist from Dundee Dental Hospital in 1981. Libby gained experience working in various practices in Edinburgh and then went on to work as a hygienist in the military hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 1986 she returned to the UK and worked in a specialist practice in Wimpole Street. She was part of the team that were first to do implants in the UK. In 1995 she took a break from work to raise her family in Germany and Moscow. On her return to the UK in 2006 she has worked with Campbell & Gibson in Musselburgh. She now works across all 3 practices.
Lois, who is originally from Northern Ireland, qualified from Edinburgh University in 2019. She has since worked across Scotland in both general and private practices before joining the team in North Berwick in 2020.
Making patients feel reassured and at ease in a situation many find daunting is at the forefront in all of Lois’ work. Lois aims to work alongside each patient to ensure they have the tools and guidance they require to maintain their oral health.
Outside of work, Lois enjoys travelling, going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.
After the completion of a BSc degree in Australia, Adelene graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2022 with a BA in Dental Science and has since moved to Scotland.
Performing treatment to the highest possible standard and ensuring patient satisfaction, whilst providing minimally invasive dentistry is at the forefront of Adelene’s priorities. Alongside this, she is constantly looking to progress and develop her skills in order to provide a variety of treatments.
Aside from work Adelene is often found in the gym, cooking and baking treats or spending quality time with family and friends.
